TITLE: Inside Sales Representative

REPORTS TO: Manager, Inside Sales

JOB PURPOSE: Establish market presence of Revere Transportation Solutions by identifying and securing new business opportunities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prospect for new customers through cold calling.
  • Provide prospective customers information and education on Revere’s service offerings.
  • Build new customer relationships and close sales opportunities.
  • Assist sales team with account development and market penetration.
  • Communicate with operations on coverage, capacity and margin.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Skills and/or Work Experience
  • Minimum Two Years Transportation Sales/Account Management Experience
  • Proven Track Record of Sales Success

KEY SKILLS and COMPETENCIES:

  • Highly motivated, persistent, competitive and a self-starter.
  • Ability to overcome objections and accept rejection.
  • Ability to communicate professionally on the phone and by email.
  • Ability to perform in a team environment.
